I’m Nicholas Ball, founder and principal of NJB Legal, a commercial solicitor practice based in Winsford, Cheshire.

About me
I’ve been practising as a solicitor for over 12 years, advising clients on commercial property transactions, corporate and commercial arrangements, agricultural and rural matters, and providing independent legal advice to individuals and businesses.
My clients include SMEs, landowners, farmers, and entrepreneurs, many of them based in Cheshire, but also across the wider North West and nationally. The common thread is that they want senior-level legal input without the overhead of a large city firm.

Yes. NJB Legal is a Consultant Practice of Nexa Law Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA number 633024). All legal work is conducted through Nexa Law. You receive the protection of a regulated law firm combined with the accessibility of a sole practitioner.
I am based in Winsford. I regularly advise clients across Cheshire, including Northwich, Crewe, Chester, Macclesfield and Warrington, as well as across the North West and nationally. Many matters can be handled entirely remotely if that suits you better.
You will work directly with me from first instruction to completion. I don’t delegate to juniors or pass files between teams. That direct relationship is one of the main reasons clients choose NJB Legal.
